The deal, confirmed Tuesday, seeks to combine DFW’s reputation for handling complex litigation cases with Veritext’s technical resources and data security.
Currently, Veritext offers multimedia depositions, document repositories, remote depositions, online scheduling and HIPAA-compliant data security.
“DFW’s expertise in very complex litigation fits well with the experience and advanced technology Veritext brings to the table,” said Nancy Josephs, CEO of Veritext. “Combining the services of both companies makes the perfect union.”
For Veritext, which bills itself as the largest provider of deposition and litigation support solutions nationwide, the acquisition is only one of a few that the company announced recently, including other deals in Florida, New Jersey and Missouri.
DFW is based in New York, but serves clients both across the country and internationally.
