No one can debate that the state is changing.
And that the reset button has been pushed.
Many of the traditional power players are out.
But who’s in?
We’re looking for nominations for the ultimate ROI Influencers list, our ranking of the top power players in the New Jersey business community.
In the coming weeks, we’ll send out numerous requests covering numerous sectors and industries.
Why? Because, just like people, we feel the influence of sectors of the economy will rise and fall with the new administration.
Let’s clear up something that we are hearing in the field: Getting the most nominations does not ensure a spot on the list. In fact, it only ensures you get the most nominations.
The nomination process is simply to provide us with additional names that we may not know about during this time of transition.
We will continue the tradition of meeting with many top influencers around the state as we craft the list.
The final list will be revealed Feb. 26.
Don’t worry, you’ll have more opportunities in other sectors. And, if you can’t wait, go ahead and submit an influencer in any category now.
Here’s a look at our schedule:
- Feb. 1: Real estate and economic development
- Feb. 2: Health care
- Feb. 6: Higher education
- Feb. 8: Government (state and local)
- Feb. 13: Industry (e.g., manufacturing, logistics, products)
- Today: Unions, associations and organizations
- Tuesday: Professional services (e.g., law, accounting, banking, finance, insurance) and technology
- Feb. 22: Who’s No. 2? (Make your pick)
Dates do not indicate closure of nomination period. Feel free to nominate from any category until nominations are closed.
