Hudson extends concessions contract at BTV

East Rutherford-based Hudson Group, a travel retail company, announced the City of Burlington, Vermont has extended its contract at the Burlington International Airport.

“For over 15 years, Hudson Group has catered to the ever-evolving needs and preferences of passengers at Burlington International Airport through our customized and local retail approach,” said Joseph DiDomizio, CEO and president of Hudson Group. “Combined with our well-organized, comfortable and easy-to-shop store designs and layouts, we have an overall exceptional retail experience for travelers.”

The new 10-year agreement includes 3,182 square feet of retail space. Retail concepts in the extension include Discover Vermont/Hudson, Lake Champlain News and Mount Mansfield News.

“Burlington International Airport is northern New England’s most convenient and welcoming airport,” said Gene Richards, director of aviation at Burlington International Airport. “With iconic tourist destinations just minutes and hours away from BTV, Hudson Group’s localized retail concept of ‘Vermont Reinforcing Vermont’ provides passengers with a local sense of place, reminding them of all the wonderful attractions and products that are unique to the Vermont area.”
