Show & Tell: Does N.J. have too many elections?

Brigid Callahan Harrison is a highly regarded professor of political science and law at Montclair State University.

We asked her if there is a downside to the state’s seemingly endless amount of elections.

“We’re asked more to vote more than anybody else. And there is something called ‘voter fatigue,’ because we have so many elections. But, in my mind, that is probably less than an issue than our elections are probably not very competitive.”
