Hamilton-based Medlogix LLC, a provider of medical claims management solutions, announced recently it has acquired Michigan-based Michigan Evaluation Group, a provider of independent medical exams, peer review, bill review and other related services.

“Both organizations are passionate about exceptional medical outcomes and excellent client service,” Craig Goldstein, president of Medlogix, said. “The ability to provide enhanced and complete solutions to a growing base of clients in the Michigan to Ohio corridor is a differentiator for our companies. Our collective clients are going to be very pleased with our expanded ability to service their needs and we look forward to growing together.”

The acquisition of MEG, Medlogix said, is a strategic combination that will provide its clients with greater geographical coverage and enhanced clinical expertise.

“The partnership with Medlogix represents an opportunity for us to leverage a more comprehensive and broader-reaching suite of solutions for our existing and future valued client relationships,” John Welsh, president of MEG, said. “Their experience with larger and middle market clients, coupled with an intuitive, user-friendly technology platform, creates value for our current clients and target markets.”

Financial terms were not disclosed.
