Whitehouse Station-based Chubb announced Tuesday that it has created small commercial insurance solutions for small manufacturers. The coverage will be available through the company’s digital platform, called the Chubb Marketplace.

Products cover these business lines:

  • Chubb Business Owner’s Policy, or Chubb BOP;
  • Workers’ compensation;
  • Umbrella;
  • Commercial auto;
  • Management and professional liability;
  • Cyber enterprise risk management, or ERM;
  • Foreign package.

“Manufacturing is an industry with diverse risks that are constantly evolving, and manufacturers must navigate a challenging array of exposures, from equipment breakdowns to supplier or distributor disruptions to employee safety,” Jim Williamson, Chubb North America’s division president for small commercial insurance, said in a prepared statement. “Chubb has been a leading provider of insurance solutions for mid- and larger-sized manufacturers for more than 50 years.

“Now, and through the technological advancements of our online Marketplace platform, we are pleased to be able to offer the same insurance solutions to small manufacturing businesses, supported by our industry-leading capabilities in underwriting, claims and risk engineering.”
