New Level Partners LLC, a Princeton-based company specializing in training solutions for the insurance industry, is teaming up with St. John’s University to launch a “Commercial Insurance Fundamentals” online certificate program, it announced this week.

The company and St. John’s Center for Executive Education will offer a sequenced curriculum including four modules and 15 hours of online, self-paced learning, New Level said in a news release. The course will provide an introduction to the insurance industry and its core commercial coverages, it added.

“The Commercial Insurance Fundamentals professional certificate program delivers excellent insurance industry overview and core coverage knowledge in a self-paced online format at an effective cost,” Bill Harwood, New Level’s co-founder, said in a prepared statement. “The attraction of a professional certificate from St. John’s University School of Risk Management is very compelling.”

The Center for Executive Education is a division of the Peter J. Tobin College of Business at St. John’s.
