The Food Bank of South Jersey has named a new chief financial officer, it announced this week.
Kathleen Horton, an experienced leader with nonprofits and for-profit companies, will serve as CFO for the Pennsauken-based organization, overseeing financial planning, reporting and more.
“I’m pleased to welcome Kathleen to the executive team,” CEO and President Fred Wasiak said in a prepared statement. “Her strong financial background and experience with nonprofits will be a great asset to the food bank as we continue to expand our reach and help more people in need.”
Horton most recently was co-founder of Holisticare Hospice, which she sold in 2018.
