Alexander Property Holdings LLC has renovated and rebranded the former Copper Ridge Center in Lyndhurst, naming Cushman & Wakefield the building’s exclusive leasing and managing agent, C&W announced recently.
The 271,000-square-foot, Class A property has undergone a multimillion-dollar revamp, and been renamed 9 Polito for its address, 9 Polito Ave., C&W said in a news release.
“This property is now the gem of the Meadowlands,” C&W’s Curtis Foster, who co-leads the leasing team with Jerry Shifrin, said in a prepared statement. “In essence, 9 Polito is a brand-new building with an amenities package befitting new office construction.”
Alexander, based in New City, New York, bought the 10-story building, which is attached by catwalk to the Courtyard by Marriott Lyndhurst, in 2015.
“It has been gratifying to see our vision come to life at 9 Polito,” Gabe Alexander, Alexander’s CEO, said in a statement. “This is our first Meadowlands project and, from the outset, we wanted to create a property that would truly stand above the competition in terms of design and services.”
C&W is marketing units ranging from 5,000 square feet to 80,000 square feet in size.
“As a hands-on owner with a long-term approach to its investments,” Alexander Property Holdings took no shortcuts with this project,” Shifrin said. “The response from existing tenants has been incredibly positive, and leasing interest already is gaining momentum.”
