IT services company Stryker names new president

Stryker Technology Solutions announced it recently appointed a new president.

Lou Esposito, most recently vice president of information technology for Crescent Hotels and Resorts, will lead the Newark-based managed IT services and support company.

“Lou is going to take Stryker to the next level,” said Steven Festa, Stryker’s founder and CEO. “His experience in supporting property-level technology, his passion for servicing hospitality customers at a global scale and his authentic team-player attitude make him an extraordinary fit for Stryker.”

Esposito has more than a decade of experience building and supporting property-level technology solutions. At Crescent, he worked to improve the property-level support and data-security posture for more than 100 of the company’s properties.

“I’m incredibly excited to join the Stryker team,” Esposito said. “The company is positioned to become the new standard in managed IT support. I’m honored to join the leadership team and all the great people that have fueled Stryker’s disruption of property level IT support.”

He said the company plans to increase its offerings, but will remain focused on supporting IT operations for hotels worldwide.

Stryker also announced it received Payment Credit Card Industry Compliance as a Level 1 Service Provider.

Esposito said he believes it is the only company with a focus on hospitality to achieve that.
