Parsippany’s Micro Strategies Inc. has acquired the value-added reseller arm, along with sales and technical resources, of a leading New York-based Information technology solutions provider for Fortune 1000 companies.

It also has entered into a partnership to jointly market its solutions with that of Siwel Consulting Inc.

This partnership will let the two companies leverage one another’s strengths and provide customers with enhanced cloud, security, analytics, infrastructure, enterprise content management/business process management and software asset management/IT asset management managed services and solutions.

It also is expected to enhance relationships with both companies’ partners, including IBM, Cisco, HPE, NetApp, Microsoft and Red Hat.

“We are very excited to be partnering with Siwel Consulting and all the new opportunities it will bring to our clients as well as our company. We see that, between ourselves and Siwel, we will be able to greatly expand our current offerings and footprint in the New York metro area,” Micro Strategies founder and CEO Anthony Bongiovanni said. “We feel this will further enable us to offer additional strengths and expertise to our customers.”
