Pernix Therapeutics Holdings Inc., a Morristown specialty pharmaceutical company, announced that its president and chief financial officer is leaving at year-end to pursue other professional opportunities.
Graham Miao’s resignation from the position he has held since July 2016 does not reflect any disagreement with the company, it said. He had been a senior adviser with the company from May 2016 to that July.
“I would like to thank Graham for his dedication to the company and wish him success in his future endeavors,” Chairman and CEO John Sedor said in a prepared statement. “As a result of our recently announced refinancing transactions that helped strengthen our balance sheet, Pernix is now positioned to pursue additional growth opportunities.”
