Flame Kabob House just got its second New Jersey location.
The family-owned and operated Afghan/Middle Eastern restaurant is leasing 1,500 square feet at Rutgers Plaza in Franklin Township. It already had a restaurant in Neptune.
Real estate services firm Levin Management Corp. arranged the lease at the plaza, where it is the exclusive leasing and managing agent.
“Rutgers Plaza’s proximity to Rutgers University, a diverse and growing local population, and the presence of strong anchor tenants make it a great location for Flame Kabob House,” said Jordan Korris, LMC leasing representative, who arranged the long-term lease. “In turn, high-quality fast-casual dining options are welcome additions to any shopping center, and Flame Kabob House is no exception.”
Flame Kabob House provides a full menu of affordably priced authentic Afghan and Middle Eastern food, along with a variety of other choices, including burgers, sandwiches, wings, salads and more.
Anchored by Stop & Shop and Kmart, Rutgers Plaza’s dining component is evolving. Another ethnic restaurant, Moral’s Village Hot Pot, is set to open there soon.
The property’s current tenants include Crunch Fitness, Dollar Tree, GNC, GameStop, Burger King, T-Mobile, Plaza Cleaners and Chase Bank.
Rutgers Plaza serves a growing residential population estimated at more than 265,000 people within a five-mile radius, and a daytime population of more than 156,000 people within those same five miles. The daily traffic count on Easton Avenue exceeds 39,000 vehicles.
