Cape Regional Health System opened its third urgent care, in Marmora, adding to its locations in Cape May Court House and Wildwood.
“We’re proud to have the opportunity to provide local families and visitors in the northern part of Cape May County with a state‐of‐the‐art urgent care center to meet their health care needs,” said John Ruskey, Cape Regional Urgent Care medical director. “The new Marmora facility will give patients convenient access to excellent care for non‐life-threatening emergencies without the wait, while delivering the same high‐quality, compassionate care they’ve come to expect from Cape Regional Health System.”
The urgent care will serve patients’ needs ranging from minor injuries to lab tests and physicals — to avoid costly emergency room visits as well as provide late options for physician visits. The urgent care can also fill out prescriptions.
The new Marmora Urgent Care Center will feature five patient suites, state‐of‐the‐art digital X‐rays and electronic medical records, as well as onsite lab and pharmacy services, according to a statement.
