PLM names experienced exec its new SVP of operations

PLM, a Newark-based fleet management firm, has named a new senior vice president of operations, it announced recently.

The company, which offers nationwide locations dedicated to the fleet management of refrigerated trailers in the cold supply chain, said in a news release that Joseph Zambrano has joined its leadership team, based out of the Fleet Solutions Center in Newark and reporting to CEO Keith Shipp.

“I am thrilled that Joe has joined our team,” Shipp said in a prepared statement. “He shares our core values and focus on providing an exceptional customer service experience. His extensive cross-functional leadership and proven track record will play an integral role in maintaining PLM at the forefront of the ever-changing cold supply chain.”

In his new role, Zambrano will lead PLM’s fleet operations and asset management, business services, customer solutions and information technology groups.

He had been the head of Third Party Risk Management programs at the Vanguard Investment Group and GE Capital, and had also served as Operations vice president for GE Capital Trailer Fleet Services.
