Pharma firm’s CMO transitions to consultant

Edison-based biopharmaceutical company ContraVir announced last week that its chief medical officer, John Sullivan-Bolyai, will be stepping down.

Sullivan-Bolyai, who served as CMO with the company since 2015, will remain a part-time consultant to the company.

“We thank John for all the hard work and dedication as chief medical officer of ContraVir for the past three years,” said James Sapirstein, the company’s CEO. “We wish him the best in the next phase of his career, and we look forward to his continued contributions to the success of our company.”
