Public Service Enterprise Group has added one of the top names in New Jersey health care to its board of directors.
Barry Ostrowsky, CEO and president of RWJBarnabas Health, was elected to the board, effective Feb. 20, the utility holding company announced recently.
Ostrowsky, who has led Barnabas Health since 2012, assumed his current position after the 2016 merger with Robert Wood Johnson Health System.
“Barry’s vast experience in leading one of the largest health care systems in our region through this challenging, dynamic and highly regulated environment, combined with his widely acclaimed prominence as a role model of corporate citizenship, makes him an invaluable addition to our board of directors,” Ralph Izzo, PSEG’s chairman, CEO and president, said in a prepared statement.
Ostrowsky’s other board memberships include RWJBarnabas, Cerebral Palsy of North Jersey, Public Media NJ Inc. and the New Jersey Chamber of Commerce.
