A look at the various members of Gov. Phil Murphy’s cabinet and administration, along with their status in the nomination and confirmation process.

Cabinet positions

Adjutant general

Col. Jemal J. Beale (reported; not formally nominated)

Background: He is deputy chief of staff, Joint Force Headquarters, New Jersey National Guard.

Agriculture secretary

Douglas Fisher (nominee; no confirmation needed)

Background: He has been secretary of agriculture since 2009.

Attorney general

Gurbir Grewal (confirmed Jan. 16)

Background: He was Bergen County prosecutor.
