Philadelphia-based law firm Dilworth Paxson LLP announced recently that it is combining with Princeton firm Smith, Stratton, Wise, Heher & Brennan LLP.
“Smith Stratton’s and Dilworth’s respective areas of deep expertise complement each other perfectly, and the presence of a new touchstone in Princeton substantially enhances our shared capacity to serve our growing roster of pharmaceutical clients,” Dilworth Chairman and CEO Ajay Raju said. “Dilworth Paxson and Smith Stratton have built sterling legacies on their own, but, from our perspective, this is a match that was always meant to be.”
Smith Stratton is bringing its 10 attorneys to the Pennsylvania firm, which has more than 100 lawyers. Dilworth Paxson is seeking to appeal to the growing number of pharmaceutical clients between Philadelphia and New York.
“Joining forces with Dilworth markedly enhances Smith Stratton’s capacity to serve its clients’ needs in complex litigation matters throughout the Northeast,” said Smith Stratton Managing Partner Thomas Schorr. “We anticipate a great future together.”
