Honeywell names new chief procurement officer

Morris Plains-based conglomerate Honeywell has named a new chief procurement officer, replacing the retired CPO, the company announced Tuesday.

Robert Vislosky has joined the company after a number of CPO roles with companies including XPO Logistics, Valspar and Reynolds Group. He takes over for Mike Slomke, who retired after 23 years with Honeywell.

“Robert’s extensive expertise and demonstrated track record in leading procurement, supply chain and global sourcing excellence will add immediate value to our company,” Mark James, senior vice president, human resources, procurement and communications, said in a prepared statement. “We expect Robert to continue to consolidate Honeywell’s global spend to drive margin improvement.”
