Fairfield printing company purchased by Ga. firm

A Georgia marketing and public relations firm has acquired a Fairfield-based offset and digital printing company, it announced recently.

The FLM Group, which operates out of a 50,000-square-foot facility with nearly 60 employees, will now be part of Phase 3 Marketing and Communications, based in Atlanta. The New Jersey company will continue to operate in the Garden State under the name FLM Graphics.

“Today, we move forward with Phase 3 as a strategic partner to offer FLM Graphics clients a wider variety in marketing services and our employees with more growth and career opportunities,” Frank L. Misischia, FLM’s founder and president, said in a prepared statement. “I look forward to continue to lead the FLM family into the next phase of our company growth.”

The 47-year-old FLM, which also has a New York City office, offers offset and digital printing services, large-format indoor and outdoor graphics, and interactive mobile technology. Phase 3 has additional offices in North Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.

Last year, it had about $14 million in revenue, while Phase 3 had about $27 million in revenue.

Peter J. Schaefer of New Direction Partners brokered the deal.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
