ERA Real Estate, a global real estate franchisor that is part of Madison-based Realogy Holdings Corp.’s Franchise Group, has named a new CEO and president, it announced Monday.
Simon Chen takes over at ERA Franchise Systems LLC, where he will oversee growth strategy, focused on enhancing agent recruitment, productivity and market share. The real estate technology veteran was most recently ERA’s chief operating officer, serving since he joined the company in May 2017.
“Simon Chen’s appointment takes advantage of our deep stable of leadership talent to further our growth strategy,” John Peyton, CEO and president, Realogy Franchise Group, said in a prepared statement. “His unique entrepreneurial background in technology and real estate will help ERA continue to serve and support agents by implementing innovative technologies that take advantage of our deep data resources.”
Before joining ERA, Chen was COO at Realty One Group. He previously founded real estate brokerage and technology consulting firm Century Pacific Group.
