PharmScript, a pharmacy provider, announced it has acquired Arxcare and Vinze Pharmacare.
These two acquisitions, Somerset-based PharmScript said, build on its national expansion and further serve its footprint in the Northeast and Midwest.
Massachusetts-based Arxcare will allow PharmScript to serve health facilities in Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. Vinze will allow for it to serve facilities in Ohio.
As part of the deals, PharmScript is building a 15,000-square-foot pharmacy at 140 Locke Drive, Marlborough, Massachusetts; and a 17,000-square-foot facility at 1685 Westbelt Drive in Columbus, Ohio.
The two new facilities will serve as long-term care pharmacies.
“We are excited to have Arxcare and Vinze, as well as their clients, join PharmScript,” said Michael Segal, CEO of PharmScript. “PharmScript will continue to service Arxcare and Vinze’s clients, giving them access to best-in-class technology and communication tools as well as other pharmacy services.”
