Movado Group Inc., a Paramus-based watchmaker, announced Wednesday two new leadership appointments, effective immediately.
Behzad Soltani has been named chief digital officer. He will be responsible for developing the company’s Digital Center of Excellence by elevating the digital experience globally on all platforms. Soltani will report to Efraim Grinberg, chairman and CEO. Prior to Movado, he was vice president and general manager of B2B at Boxed. He also served as vice president and general manager at Keurig. Before that, he held senior roles at Staples and FedEx Office.
Michelle Barna-Stern has been named vice president of social media. Barna-Stern will be responsible for growing Movado’s digital footprint and increasing its communication with consumers through strategic social media and digital marketing platforms. Barna-Stern will report to Mary Leach, chief marketing officer. Prior to Movado, she was vice president of social marketing at 360i. Before that, she held various social media and content management roles at agencies such as Blue State Digital, Deep Focus and Venda.
