NAI James E. Hanson, a New Jersey-based commercial real estate firm, announced the sale of an industrial/flex building and a parcel of land in Hackensack.
NAI Hanson’s Anthony Cassano, vice president, represented the seller, Voorhis Associates, and the buyer, T&M Realty Associates.
The buyer will use the 0.28 acres of land and the 2,800-square-foot freestanding property to relocate its Greeland Landscaping business to Hackensack from Wayne. The property has 1,600 square feet of warehouse space and 1,200 square feet of office space.
The spot is within close proximity to routes 4, 17 and 46, the Garden State Parkway and interstates 80 and 95.
“The buyer leapt at the opportunity to purchase a larger, more conveniently located property with significantly easier access points to several major highways,” said Cassano. “Continually decreasing vacancy rates, along with sustained strong demand has made finding suitable commercial real estate space in Bergen County difficult and requires an experienced commercial real estate broker to help navigate the competitive landscape. We were able to leverage our decades of experience and knowledge of our home market of Hackensack to negotiate a sale of the property that was mutually agreeable to both parties.”
