Strive Health Network opens new outpatient recovery center in Bergen County

Strive Health, a provider of outpatient addiction and behavioral health treatment programs, announced Thursday it has opened a new treatment center in Paramus.

The new center, Strive Health of Paramus, will provide trauma-informed outpatient treatment programs and services people suffering from substance use disorder and/or mental health conditions.

“As an organization, we are dedicated to increasing the access to, and quality of, outpatient addiction and mental health treatment,” said Eric Frieman, co-CEO of Strive Health. “Strive Health of Paramus is addressing the significant unmet need for high-quality, affordable and effective treatment and we are honored to be serving the Northern New Jersey community.”

The new center in Paramus, which is the fifth center in the Strive network, will also serve as a Center for Recovery and Community Health for the Bergen County community.

“As a native of New Jersey who has been in the addiction and mental health field my entire professional career, I am acutely aware of the devastating addiction crisis in New Jersey,” said Deborah McKinley, executive director of Strive Health of Paramus. “Strive Health of Paramus is more than just a treatment provider. We are here in the community, we are with the community, every step of the way.”
