The New Jersey Chamber of Commerce announced Monday it has named Laura Hahn its new director of government relations.
Hahn will be responsible for advocating on behalf of the New Jersey business community, focusing on economic development, taxation and health care.
She will report to Michael Egenton, executive vice president of government relations at the Chamber.
Prior to the Chamber, Hahn was the legislative liaison for the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission. Before that, she was legislative director and chief of staff for former Assemblywoman Donna Simon. She was also an aide in former Gov. Chris Christie’s Office of Constituent Relations.
“I look forward to using my experience in state government to promote New Jersey Chamber of Commerce member companies and to help foster the kind of business climate in which businesses here will flourish,” Hahn said.
