Former U.S. Attorney for New Jersey Paul Fishman has joined a law firm as a partner in New York, the firm announced Monday.
Fishman will lead the Crisis Management and Strategic Response team at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP, working out of the firm’s locations in New York City and Newark.
Fishman, who was U.S. attorney from 2009-17, will work on internal investigations, compliance counseling, white collar defense, complex civil litigation and appellate advocacy, Arnold & Porter said in its news release.
“Paul is a tireless and talented advocate who will bring strategic vision to the most challenging problems facing our clients,” Richard M. Alexander, chair of the firm, said in a prepared statement. “They will greatly benefit from his excellent judgment and deep practical experience managing complex matters. He is an outstanding addition to our firm, and we are privileged to welcome him back to private practice after his distinguished career in public service.”
