Alta Associates, an executive search firm based in Flemington, has created a chief resiliency officer position, it announced recently.
The hiring of Pam Stenson to the new role will bolster the reach of the firm, which specializes in cybersecurity and information technology risk, it said in a news release. Stenson will help the firm place chief information officers and chief information security officers, as well as their teams, by connecting the CIO and CISO communities to strengthen and align their communities.
“I am thrilled to be part of Alta Associates and supporting the Executive Women’s Forum,” she said in a prepared statement. “This opportunity enables me to continue to advocate for CIOs and maintain the strong relationships we’ve enjoyed over several years working collectively to evolve the profession.”
The Executive Women’s Forum, an organization that aims to develop and advance women leaders in the IT and information security industries, was founded by Alta CEO Joyce Brocaglia.
Stenson, who has more than 20 years of executive technology experience, will work out of the firm’s headquarters as well as Boston.
