Princeton-based DiversityInc announced recently five companies inducted into its first-ever Top 50 Hall of Fame.
The companies, EY, Kaiser Permanente, Novartis, PwC and Sodexo, were chosen based on their accomplishments in human capital management and corporate values and culture.
The criteria for the Hall of Fame, is based on companies who were once ranked No. 1 since DiversityInc’s 2012 survey. For a company to maintain its Hall of Fame status, they are re-evaluated annually in a Top 50 competition.
Since 2001, the Top 50 list has recognized the nation’s top companies, with 1,000 or more employees, for diversity and inclusion, like hiring, retaining and promoting women, minorities, people with disabilities, LGBT and veterans.
Companies are judged on:
- Talent pipeline;
- Talent development;
- Leadership accountability;
- Supplier diversity.
