RAB Lighting signs lease for Cranbury building, Duke Realty says

RAB Lighting, a maker of indoor and outdoor LED lighting and controls, has signed a long-term lease for an industrial property in Cranbury, according to building owner Duke Realty.

The company, which is based in Northvale, will relocate and expand its Northeast distribution center operations into the building at 10 Broadway Road, the industrial-focused real estate investment trust said in a news release.

“We are pleased that we could meet RAB Lighting’s distribution and space needs with our new building at 10 Broadway Road,” Ben Rosen, Duke Realty’s vice president of leasing and development, said in a prepared statement.

Duke said it added the asset to its 5.6 million-square-foot New Jersey industrial portfolio in October as part of a six-building, two-site acquisition.

“This building provides RAB with excellent access to (Interstate) 95 and includes the state-of-the-art features we need for efficient storage and fast distribution to our customers in the Northeast,” Ross Barna, RAB’s CEO, said in a statement.

RAB will occupy 100 percent of the property, which totals 264,085 square feet.

Chuck Fern of Cushman & Wakefield represented both parties in the transaction, with Rosen and Caitlin English also representing Duke Realty.
