Topgolf, which recently told ROI-NJ it has big plans for the New Jersey region, announced another step in its local expansion this week.
The sports and entertainment company said its largest Topgolf Swing Suite indoor facility will open this summer at the Ocean Resort Casino in Atlantic City — the former Revel casino-hotel.
The Swing Suite will feature 11 bays, a virtual putting green and multisport games, as well as food and entertainment.
“No detail was overlooked in the development of Ocean Resort Casino,” Bruce Deifik, chairman of parent AC Ocean Walk, said in a prepared statement. “We’re aligning with companies and brands that are the best at what they do, to optimize the overall guest experience, and Topgolf is one of the best in terms of delivering cutting-edge entertainment and memorable social experiences that capture the spirit of competition and fun.”
Topgolf, which has a facility in Edison and another planned for Mount Laurel, launched the Swing Suite concept in 2017.
“With 11 bays and 26,000 square feet, the size, scale and breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean, the Topgolf Swing Suite at Ocean Resort Casino will be unlike anything the entertainment industry has seen before,” Topgolf Swing Suite President Ron Powers said in a statement. “We’re extremely proud to partner with Ocean Resort Casino to bring this one-of-a-kind, interactive social experience to Atlantic City visitors of all ages.”
