Card makers association names new president, VP

The International Card Manufacturers Association, a Princeton Junction-based trade group for the card industry, has elected a new leadership team for 2018, it announced Wednesday.

The group said Barry Mosteller, director of research and development for CPI Card Group, has been named president, taking over for Keith Yeates of Bristol ID Technologies. Michael Dorner, managing director of Variuscard GmbH has been named vice president.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Barry as president, and I know he will be a terrific leader for ICMA,” Jeffrey Barnhart, the organization’s founder and executive director, said in a prepared statement. “He has tremendous experience on the technical side of card manufacturing and has always been an engaged and dynamic member of ICMA.”

The organization, whose members make, personalize and supply plastic cards like credit cards and other products, also elected a new board of directors, made up of executives from North America and Europe.
