Commvault names Strubel to lead worldwide channels

Tinton Falls-based Commvault, a data protection and information management solutions provider, announced Thursday it has appointed Scott Strubel as vice president of worldwide channels.

Strubel will be responsible for the company’s global network of resellers and distributors. He will also focus on developing new programs for its customers and drive growth across its solutions portfolio.

Most recently, Strubel was vice president of the Americas partner organization at NetApp.

“Scott’s role is key to helping Commvault grow and expand its presence and leadership in the channel and his experience in building and growing relationships with market leaders will be a great asset to Commvault and its partner-led strategy,” said Owen Taraniuk, head of worldwide partnerships and market development, Commvault.

“His appointment represents Commvault’s continued commitment to partners and is yet another indicator of how the company is investing heavily in growing revenue in the channel.”
