Global vacuum, HVAC firm opens N.J. location as North American HQ

NAVAC, a global maker of vacuum and HVAC/R equipment and tools, has opened a location in Lyndhurst to launch its North American operations, it announced recently.

The company, based outside Shanghai, has more than 600 employees and sells its products in more than 80 countries, it said. NAVAC makes user-friendly vacuum pumps, tools, gauges and more, it added.

“The HVAC/R sector would dramatically benefit from the types of smart, more automated solutions that have revolutionized other industries,” Stephen Rutherford, director of HVAC Tools Business, said in a prepared statement. “That is the principle upon which NAVAC enters the North American market, with a goal of steadily expanding our footprint through a product portfolio that makes technicians’ jobs more efficient, intuitive and easy.”

The company’s flagship products are the NRP8Di and NRP6Di smart vacuum pumps.
