Freehold-based Exelegent has acquired Monroe Township-based Big Byte Solutions, the pair jointly announced Thursday.
Exelegent is a professional services company that provides technology solutions, product and business development, healthcare services, cloud environments, and security and compliance services to businesses in health care and finance. Big Bye Solutions provides information technology support to companies.
The acquisition will provide their clients with improved technology solution services, they said.
Michael Tomasulo, owner of Big Byte Solutions, will become part of Exelgent’s team. Tomasulo, who has extensive experience in IT and running a managed service provider, started Big Byte Solutions in 2013.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
