Oakland-based Push to Walk announced recently it has named Vivian Kiggins its new executive director.
Push to Walk provides workouts and resources to people with spinal cord injuries and other forms of paralysis.
Kiggins, who joined the company in April 2018, has experience in the nonprofit sector.
“I am thrilled to be here and working with such dedicated and compassionate colleagues and clients. They inspire and remind me to work harder and live life to the fullest every day,” Kiggins said.
Prior to her appointment, Kiggins spent time as a zookeeper and working in an administrative role at the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation.
