RCBC Foundation names new chair

The Rowan College at Burlington County Foundation has elected a new chair, it announced Monday.

Henry Gosik, who with his family built Sensational Host into one of South Jersey’s largest caterers, will take over the role as the foundation seeks to build upon its record-breaking Celebration of Philanthropy, which raised $250,000 for the foundation earlier this year.

“I look forward to working with our trustees and donors to continue to move the foundation forward and help more students achieve their dreams through excellent and affordable education at Rowan College at Burlington County,” he said in a prepared statement.

Gosik, who graduated from community college, has been a foundation trustee since 2012.

“From his own experience, Henry Gosik understands the important role Rowan College at Burlington County plays in transforming lives and empowering students toward their greatest success,” RCBC acting President Michael Cioce said. “I look forward to working with Henry and all of our foundation trustees and donors to help more students afford education.”

Tony Mahon, the previous chair, remains an active member of the foundation, Mount Laurel-based RCBC said.
