Logistics firm building Delanco cold storage site

RLS Logistics, a Newfield-based third-party logistics firm, announced it is building a new cold storage warehouse in Delanco to serve Philadelphia and other Northeast markets.

The third-generation family-owned company said the 180,000-square-foot facility is expected to open this summer.

“We are excited to announce the opening of this new state-of-the-art facility,” John Gaudet, vice president of business development, said in a prepared statement. “The Delanco facility is in an ideal location and accessible from the New Jersey Turnpike as well as (Interstate) 295 and relatively close proximity to the Ports of Philadelphia. We will be introducing mobile racking, taking advantage of one of the many technological advancements in warehousing.”

The site will also feature a 245,000-square-foot flex space available for manufacturing and distribution purposes.
