Whippany-based WithumSmith+Brown P.C., a certified public accounting and advisory firm, announced Thursday it has appointed Kathy Ruggieri its new principal and team member for its Healthcare Services Group.
Withum’s Healthcare Services Group provides consulting and advisors services including revenue cycle, internal audit and corporate compliance, valuations and fair market assessments, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity.
“Highly accomplished and results-driven, Kathy brings to her new role a depth of expertise that will advance Withum’s posture and strength in health care during this increasingly complex post-reform era,” said Bill Hagaman, the firm’s managing partner and CEO. “Her insight, knowledge and leadership are a tremendous asset to our firm and a diverse health care client roster that is continually evolving to provide the highest quality of care.”
Ruggieri has 34 years of experience in the health care industry, most recently serving as vice president of a New Jersey-based health care finance and technology consulting firm.
