Parsippany-based Solix Inc., a business process outsourcing company, announced Thursday it has expanded its operations in Texas.
The expansion includes a second facility in downtown Killeen and up to an additional 180 jobs.
The expansion plans come after working with the Killeen Economic Development Corp. to reach an agreement that enabled Solix to grow in the city and create new jobs in Killeen.
“I am excited that we were able to facilitate this agreement with Solix. They are clearly committed to continued investment in downtown Killeen, an area the city has worked tirelessly to redevelop,” Killeen Mayor and KEDC member Jose Segarra said.
“We share Killeen’s excitement about our future in the city,” said Solix, CEO and President Jack Miller. “Solix’s expansion in Killeen is a result of the success we have achieved here through a quality local workforce and because of the KEDC’s commitment to strong and mutually beneficial partnerships that help businesses and Killeen grow together.”
