NAI James E. Hanson, a commercial real estate firm, announced recently it has brokered three lease renewals at the Van Brunt Business Center in Englewood.
The renewals are as follows:
- Marathon Enterprise, 5,000 square feet at 9 Smith St.;
- GNS Trading Corp., 5,000 square feet at 21 Smith St.;
- ForTec Medical, 5,000 square feet at 41 Smith St.
Ken Lundberg, Steve Pastor and Patrick Lennon of NAI Hanson represented the landlord, West Forest Avenue Industrial Inc., and the tenants at 9 and 41 Smith St. Young Lee of Eastern Realty represented GNS Trading in its renewal.
Marathon Enterprises is a gourmet meats supplier which sells its products under the Sabrett brand. GNS Tranding is a jewerly and watch distributor. ForTec Medical is a medical device rental provider.
“A rapidly tightening industrial market and lack of inventory has made it increasingly difficult for tenants to find suitable industrial spaces in the area that boast the combination of location and flexibility found at the Van Brunt Business Center,” Lennon said. “We expect that the owners of well-located, flexible properties like the Van Brunt Business Center will continue to be well-positioned for high tenant retention over the next several quarters.”
The Van Brunt Business Center is located close to New York City and Routes 4 and 80, the New Jersey Turnpike and the Palisades Parkway.
