Surgeon moving practice to River Edge

The sale of an office condo means a Maywood surgery practice is moving to River Edge, according to real estate firm NAI James E. Hanson.

The firm said in a news release Thursday that Dr. Dan S. Landmann purchased the 3,112-square-foot office at 63 Grand Ave. from seller 63 Grand Ave LLC. Landmann bought the space as a new long-term home for his surgery practice, NAI Hanson added.

“Sustained demand from tenants and buyers and a lag in development has created an unbalanced medical office supply-and-demand equation through northern New Jersey,” NAI Hanson’s Darren Lizzack said in a prepared statement. “With a continued shortage of quality office space adaptable for medical clients, opportunities like 63 Grand Ave. can be few and far between.

“Our market knowledge and experience working in the Bergen County medical office market enabled us to successfully work on behalf of our client to find this space and negotiate a deal that allowed Dr. Landmann to establish a long-term home for his practice.”

Lizzack, along with NAI Hanson colleagues Randy Horning and Michael Guerra, represented the buyer in the transaction, while Lee & Associates’ Joe Tormen represented the seller.

The building is a three-story, 10,000-square-foot property one block from New Jersey Transit’s New Bridge Landing station.
