Mango Capital names chief operating officer

Mango Capital Inc., a Far Hills-based real estate holding company, has named a new chief operating officer, it announced Thursday.

In his new role, Lawrence Brean will oversee the company’s operations, initially focusing on identifying accretive and strategic acquisitions, Mango Capital said in a news release.

“I am thrilled at the opportunity to join this great team and look forward to finding strategic acquisitions for Mango,” he said in a prepared statement.

Brean, who has a law degree and an MBA, has served in a variety of senior management positions during his career, working in a number of industries.

“We are honored to have the opportunity to benefit from Larry’s vast experience,” Mango President Rick J. Makoujy Jr. said in a statement. “Mango is fortunate to share his expertise and insight; 2018 is a crucial year for Mango, and executing on our aggressive growth model through acquisitions is a large part of that.

“Simply put, Larry is the right guy at the right time for our company.”
