Mango Capital continues to bolster C-suite

Mango Capital Inc. made its second C-suite appointment in less than a week, it announced Tuesday, naming a new chief financial officer.

In his new role, Charles Montecino, a Certified Public Accountant, will oversee the real estate holding company’s finances and evaluate potential transactions, while also managing the audit process, which is currently being conducted by Friedman LLP, the Far Hills-based firm said in a news release.

“We are grateful for the opportunity to benefit from Mr. Montecino’s vast experience and wisdom,” Mango President Rick J. Makoujy Jr. said in a prepared statement. “2018 is a crucial year for Mango, and executing on our aggressive growth model through acquisitions is a large part of that. Charles is a huge addition to our team.”

Montecino has spent 40 years in public accounting, including 32 running his own firm.

“I’m both honored and humbled to be offered this important position with Mango Capital,” he said in a statement. “I look forward to helping the company achieve planned success.”

Last week, Mango named Lawrence Brean as its chief operating officer.
