Cushman & Wakefield has been named the leasing agent for a pair of retail properties in Bergen County, the real estate services firm announced recently.
David Townes, based in the East Rutherford office, is heading up the assignment to market 154 Route 4 E. in Paramus and Palisades Shoppes at 55 W. Palisades Ave. in Englewood. Both properties are owned by Glenmore Management.
The property in Paramus is a 15,100-square-foot, free-standing asset fronting on Route 4, while the downtown Englewood property has two available spots — one at 5,000 square feet, the other at 8,300 — that can potentially be combined into one.
“Paramus is known for its enviable demographics, with nearly 620,000 people within a five-mile radius,” Townes said in a prepared statement. “It is home to the highest retail sales per square foot in New Jersey, making it a magnet for tenants. This particular site is highly attractive, offering excellent visibility and accessibility.
“Englewood is a vibrant downtown nestled in the heart of Bergen County. This charming and inclusive community is known for its quality retail and prime proximity to New York City, which is just minutes away. Palisades Shoppes is arguable the best piece of available retail in town.”
This is Townes’ first assignment with Secaucus-based Glenmore Management.
“Glenmore has amassed some fine retail assets in northern New Jersey’s most sought-after retail hubs,” he said. “This company is a hands-on owner that is excited to make deals, and I look forward to helping them work toward that end.”
