Woodmont Properties held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Woodmont Cove, a new luxury rental community in South Amboy, it announced recently.
The new community, Woodmont said, features 106 two-story townhomes with garage parking and 20 luxury flats. It is within close access to the South Amboy NJ Transit train station, waterfront parks, indoor and outdoor recreation, shopping and restaurants.
“Woodmont Properties promised and delivered an incredible project,” said South Amboy Mayor Fred Henry, who was at the ceremony. “We now have a beautiful new living area that benefits Woodmont, its residents, and — of course — the people of the City of South Amboy.”
Key executives from Woodmont Properties, including Eric Witmondt, CEO; Lewis Zlotnick, president; Stephen Santola, executive vice president and general counsel; David Trager, chief investment officer; Steven Varneckas, senior vice president; Daniel Miller, chief financial officer; and Howard Irwin, senior vice president of construction; were also in attendance.
“We’re very excited to officially open this sensational community, which offers the perfect blend of luxury living and convenience,” Zlotnick said. “Residents will be able to enhance their living experience by utilizing the YMCA and Raritan Bay Waterfront Park, which offers breathtaking views of the New York City skyline, and is home to a variety of festivals, free concerts and public gatherings throughout the year.”
The property is within close proximity to the New Jersey Shore, Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike, Interstate 287 and state highways 35, 1 and 9.
