Kenilworth tech company expands with deal for U.K. firm

Diversified, a Kenilworth-based technology solutions provider, has acquired a U.K.-based AV solutions and support firm, it announced Wednesday.

Diversified said in a news release that the deal for Digitavia expands its global reach from South Korea to the U.K., as well as giving it global meeting room services.

“In today’s global economy, overseas expansion is a necessary step in continuing our strategic plan and success,” Diversified founder and CEO Fred D’Alessandro said in a prepared statement. “Having successfully partnered with the Digitavia team on multiple projects in the past, the decision to combine our companies and bring them into the Diversified family was a natural fit.”

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Digitavia co-founders Daryl Clarke and Darren Pitt will join Diversified’s team.
