Catalent Pharma Solutions, a Somerset-based provider of drug delivery solutions, said Paul Hegwood has been promoted to president of its Clinical Supply Services business.
Hegwood, who has been with Catalent for seven years in a number of leadership positions, succeeds Wetteny Joseph, who was promoted to chief financial officer in February.
“Paul has been one of the most vocal and passionate champions of embedding ‘Patient First’ into Catalent’s culture,” Chairman and CEO John Chiminski said in a prepared statement. “Paul is a builder of strong teams, and his excellent track record of strengthening customer relationships will drive excellence in the business.”
Hegwood was most recently global vice president of clinical supply services operations, and had been vice president of global operational excellence.
