RIVET, a luxury apartment building in Jersey City, has opened leasing, it announced Wednesday.
The 163-unit property at 23 University Place Blvd. was developed by the Hampshire Cos. and Claremont Cos. Units range from 550 square feet to 1,300 square feet in studio, one- and two-bedroom layouts. The building is part of the University Place redevelopment plan.
Rents start at $1,600 a month, with occupancy to begin in July.
“RIVET offers all of the luxury and lifestyle amenities of comparable waterfront/downtown properties at affordable price points,” Richard Sciaretta, a director with Far Hills-based Claremont Cos., said in a prepared statement.
Amenities include a cybercafe, a courtyard with sundeck and more, an indoor lounge, a fitness center and more.
The property also includes 10,000 square feet of retail space, as well as parking.
“RIVET has everything today’s renter wants in a home,” Norman Feinstein, vice chairman of the Morristown-based Hampshire Cos., said in a statement. “It is a perfect mix of modern luxury with the best that urban living has to offer right outside their doorstep.”
